Exhibitions & studio work
Making new work for a Manhattan church with Tiffany windows revived my interest in figurative glasspainting. Bird in Hand (left) combines this with a perennial passion for decorative textural effects and subtly coloured antique glass. The theme springs from my current series Menfolk which explores the emotional complexity of men.
Bird in Hand is currently on exhibition in London, England at the Jeannetta Cochrane Gallery as part of a British Society of Master Glass Painters show called 40cm sq, info www.bsmgp.org
I will be exhibiting stained glass panels from this series during the summer of 2008 at the British Society of Master Glass Painters biennial group exhibitiion, 40cm sq in London; at the annual conference of the American Glass Guild; at T W Wood Gallery & Arts Center, Montpelier, Vermont; and North Adams Artists' Cooperative Gallery, N Adams, Massachusetts.
Studio work is for sale.
My next solo show will run July - October 2009 at the Jeanetta Cochrane Gallery in London, England.
